Grand Prive – eCOGRA update

It has been revealed to the GAU that, since our open letter requesting changes to the investigation and claims process, there have been a few changes made.
Firstly, it appears that the deadline has been extended to December 31st 2009.
Secondly, that the communications exercise be expanded by emailing all affiliates who had active players on the Program’s records during the 3 months prior to 1 December 2008 when the Program closed.
eCogra have also stated that they will be confirming the accuracy and completeness of the database list of emails used.
This is a step in the right direction, however, we still have some reservations. Our reservations are that firstly, the deadline has only been expanded to cover a period that sees the majority of the world partaking in annual holidays. Secondly, some members are stating that although they had no active players in the specified period, that they did in fact send players of some description that may have become active. This in mind, they are although possibly due remuneration, likely to be overlooked.
We must state that we are happy to see the changes, however, feel that they are still leaving some possible issues.
We urge both or either party to contact the GAU with a mind to discuss the investigation, perhaps we can advise on further enhancements that would appease the majority.

... fighting for affiliates rights!
