GAU to start polls

As the Gambling Affiliates Union is designed to represent members views and choices we intend to start a few polls on who we boycott as a group and who we do not.

It would be very easy for us that administer the GAU to simply boycott programs like Grand Prive on the GAU website without asking members opinions, however, to allow for complete transparency and only boycott programs that the majority of the members agree to boycott we are going to run a vote on each and every program that is brought to our attention. For this reason we will shortly post some reports on a handful of programs asking for your vote on whether or not we should as a union boycott these programs.

If a program is boycotted by the GAU this means that the members of the GAU have voted in consideration of the facts put before them along with their own experience and knowledge, then decided that the GAU should recommend that they are not promoted. It means that the GAU advises against affiliates dealing with them in any way.

A GAU boycott is not a demand to cease trading with them, nor is it a rule disallowing GAU members from doing so, it is merely an advisory notice.

Any program that is boycotted by the GAU will be required not to carry the GAU logo and should a member see the GAU logo displayed we ask that they report this to the GAU as a matter of urgency.

Part of the polls will also generally include a question pertaining to whether or not the GAU should take further action. Further action could be a campaign to highlight the issues, entering into negotiations with the programs, taking legal advice and further actions as deemed necessary. Please consider each case individually and remember that further action will involve the GAU in strong battles, the GAU are prepared for such battles, however, these battles will always come at some expense and this should be taken into consideration too! The GAU will only use its time and funds fighting issues with the full backing of its members.
