No one person or employee of the Gambling Affiliates Union will draw more than the UK average wage for their position at the Gambling Affiliates Union. Any annual surplus funds will be carried over by the Gambling Affiliates Union for the following years operational costs.
The Gambling Affiliates Union is operated and funded by Terry Bolger. In order to offset some of the operating costs incurred by the GAU, we may from time to time, offer advertising space to our affiliate members.
Our goal is to continue operating the GAU, for the foreseeable future, without having to charge our members any “dues” or membership fees. As long as we can afford to fund the union out of pocket or through paid sponsorship, we will not implement any form of paid membership. Our goal is to ensure the services provided by the GAU are accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances.
While it is unlikely that the Gambling Affiliates Union will ever operate at a profit, if and when that time comes, we will post an annual financial report on this website showing our members exactly where the money comes from and how it was disbursed.
Mr. Bolger is not presently drawing a wage from the GAU and has no plans to do so in the near future. Should the GAU grow to the point where it is demanding too much time for Mr. Bolger to continue donating his time free of charge, we will revisit the above policy. Mr. Bolger, nor any other employee will ever be paid more than the average UK wage for positions of a similar nature.
